LBBA Autumn Solo, Duet and Quartet Contest:

The Autumn contest is for all players who are in member bands of the LBBA. There are 15 sections for different age ranges and open section with competitions for Solos, Duets, Quartets, Sight reading and Air-Varies.

Open Brass Band Contest
Sunday 29th November 2009

Following the success of our new venue in 2009, the next LBBA Open Brass Band contest will be held once again Burleigh Community College and Garendon High School, Thorpe Hill, Loughborough LE11 4SQ, which is 2 miles from M1 Junction 23.

The committee have arranged further catering with the venue for this year's contest following feedback from member bands.

At the LBBA 2009 AGM it was decided to stop running the LBBA annual quiz due to declining interest from member bands. If you have any new suggestions for other association events, in addition to our contests we'd love to hear from you. Thanks.
